A Living Legacy
Every act of giving carries a memory
Through the Legacy Monthly Donors Programme, families honour a loved one by sustaining the Shul that shaped their lives. Your monthly contribution becomes a lasting tribute — a light that continues to shine in their name, month after month, year after year.
Unlike a once-off gift, a legacy dedication keeps giving. It funds the learning, the davening, the building and the chesed that a parent, a spouse or a child once gave their own time and means to build. Their name is inscribed on our Memorial Board, read aloud at their yahrzeit, and carried in the daily life of the kehilla.
וּצְדָקָה תַּצִּיל מִמָּוֶת “And charity delivers from death.” Mishlei 10:2
Our sages teach that tzedakah given in the merit of a departed soul brings an aliyah neshama — an elevation for the soul. What a family gives each month in their name becomes a continual merit, renewed with every contribution.
How it works

Monthly dedication
Choose a fixed monthly amount, debited automatically, that supports the Shul’s ongoing needs. You set it once; it continues in your loved one’s name.
Personal tribute
We record the name, Hebrew name and yahrzeit of the person you are honouring. They are added to the Memorial Board and remembered in our communal tefillot.
Sustained impact
Your gift funds learning, maintenance and outreach — the day-to-day life of the Shul — so that their memory continues to build something real.
